1. About this policy
Circle Voice AI (“Circle”, “we”, “us”) is a Cantonese-first AI voice service. This policy applies to circlevoice.ai, Circle accounts, voice conversations, billing and support.
Circle is operated by True Digit. Correspondence address: Room C03, Block A, 2/F, Tontex Industrial Building, 2–4 Sheung Hei Street, San Po Kong, Kowloon, Hong Kong. This policy takes effect on 15 August 2026.
2. What we collect
- Account data: your email address and basic profile details supplied when you sign in with Google.
- Conversation data: voice transcripts, Circle’s replies and signed-in chat records separated by an individual conversation identifier.
- Voice processing: raw microphone audio is transmitted live over WebRTC to Alibaba Cloud Model Studio in Singapore for speech understanding, AI generation and spoken replies. Servers controlled by Circle or True Digit and Supabase do not record or store raw microphone audio. Alibaba processes the live audio under its service terms and privacy practices.
- Payment data: Stripe customer, subscription, payment and transaction identifiers. Circle does not receive or store full card numbers.
- Usage and technical data: voice allowance, plan status, anonymous trial identifiers, essential cookies, local conversation storage, device or browser data, IP addresses and technical logs that exclude conversation content.
- Product analytics: pseudonymous conversation identifiers, plan, activity and completion times, metered seconds, turn counts, completion status and daily activity for signed-in users. These records exclude audio, transcripts, prompts and replies.
- Cost and renewal records: provider-reported token or character usage, metered voice seconds, calculated cost, subscription starts, renewals, failed payments and cancellations. Cost records exclude conversation content.
- Feedback: helpful, not helpful or error reports you submit, together with a reason and optional comment. Reports do not automatically include your full conversation.
3. How we use data
Circle does not sell your personal data or record or store raw microphone audio on Circle or Supabase infrastructure. When you are signed in, the saved data is the encrypted transcript and Circle’s replies, not the raw recording.
We use data to provide and secure the service, maintain conversation context, meter allowances, process payments, support users, prevent abuse, troubleshoot faults and meet legal obligations. We do not use personal data for third-party direct marketing without the consent required by law.
4. Cookies and analytics
Circle uses essential storage to maintain sign-in, security, voice allowances, payment status, cookie choices and the current conversation. Google Tag Manager manages Google Analytics tags. Analytics storage is enabled by default until you choose “Reject analytics cookies” in the notice or footer settings. Your choice is saved in your browser and can be changed at any time.
Analytics events include page views, sign-in method, plan views, starting, pausing and completing voice conversations, reply latency, voice-session refreshes, feedback, checkout starts and Stripe-verified purchase details. Events exclude what you say, AI replies, email addresses and Circle account identifiers.
Advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalisation are currently disabled. Circle will not enable personalised advertising or remarketing tags without updating this notice and providing the relevant choice.
5. Providers and overseas processing
Circle uses Alibaba Cloud Model Studio in Singapore for realtime speech understanding, AI generation and spoken replies, together with Supabase for authentication and databases, Google for optional sign-in and analytics, Stripe for payments, and Hostinger for hosting. Data may be processed outside Hong Kong, including in Singapore. We disclose only information reasonably required to operate the relevant service, subject to each provider’s terms and privacy practices.
6. AI transparency
Circle uses third-party realtime voice and language-model services. The AI may mishear, miss context, or produce incorrect or outdated information; answers that depend on current facts should be independently verified. Providers, models and configurations may change for security, quality, latency, cost and availability. API secrets, private instructions and security-sensitive configuration are not exposed through the public interface.
7. Independent chat history
When signed out, a conversation is temporary to the current page and reloading starts a new chat; the anonymous five-minute allowance does not reset on reload. When signed in, transcripts and Circle’s replies are saved as separate conversations. The AI receives only the conversation you have opened and does not automatically import another chat into a new one. To avoid repeatedly processing old audio, Circle periodically opens a fresh realtime connection and continues with compact text context and recent messages from that same chat. You may start a new chat, reopen an earlier chat or permanently delete one conversation. Circle currently does not use cross-chat long-term memory.
8. Retention, security and your rights
We retain information only as reasonably necessary to provide the service, handle disputes, prevent fraud and comply with law. Data is transmitted over HTTPS, and saved chat content, titles and existing web-source links are encrypted at the application layer. Secrets remain in server-side settings; monitoring logs exclude conversations, audio, emails and secrets.
You may refuse microphone access, change your cookie choice, delete individual chats, clear local conversations, cancel renewal, and request access to, correction of or deletion of personal data we hold. Signed-in users can choose “Delete account” in the account menu. Circle first cancels the related Stripe customer or subscription, then permanently deletes the account, saved conversations and identifiable usage. Some billing, accounting, security or dispute records may be retained where required; operational and cost totals are retained without the Circle account identifier.
9. Age restriction and contact
Circle is available only to people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal data to Circle, contact us so that we can investigate and delete it.
For access, correction or deletion requests, or questions about privacy, email support@circlevoice.ai. We may need to verify your identity before handling an account-data request.
